Casa Kristina
Casa Kristina
Casa Kristina is a very recently renovated village house in Melegis, with a garden, a pool and great views across the valley to the old Arab watchtower atop the hills of the Atalayah.
You can park directly in front of the house and you enter into an open-plan area with a lounge area with sofas and a wood burning stove, a kitchen/diner with seating for ten-twelve people and off to the right are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other one with twin beds) and a bathroom.
From the kitchen you go down a few stairs to the garden and pool. To your left is the open-air kitchen with a barbecue for al-fresco dining which is covered in case of too much sun or the occasional rainy days.
There is a guest house to the right of the garden, giving separate accommodation from the main house. This has a lounge with great views and a sofabed. Coming up a few steps there is a big double bedroom and a bathroom.
There is a wood burning stove in the main house and another one in the guest house to make those winter evenings cosy. The main house has underfloor heating, and there's also air conditioning in both houses.
Casa Kristina is very well equipped and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is at the top of the village with only a couple more houses before you are in the orange groves. It is a short walk down to a river and to the ruined castle of Lojuela.
Casa Kristina is a delightful house, very well situated for visits to all the local sites in the area, the Costa Tropical, Sierra Nevada and the magical city of Granada.
